the cratos™ thoracic branch stent graft system is the second-generation uni-body branched stent graft system equipped with an updated delivery system. it is designed for the treatment of descending aortic lesions, such as aneurysm, stanford type b aorta dissection, imh, and isolated pau in patients with appropriate landing zones. cratos™ inherits the robust design of castor™, and their stent grafts share nearly the same structure. the integrated side branch stent can minimize the risk of type iii endoleak and migration. regarding the delivery system, cratos™ has been redesigned to assist physicians in achieving a faster, safer, and easier operation. the smallest outer sheath profile of the delivery system has decreased to 22f. the major added features of the new delivery system include the new active bird-peak control design and the misuse-proof mechanism of deployment trigger wires. with the assistance of active bird-peak control, the proximal sealing zone stent can be adjusted and conform better to the curved aorta arch vessel wall. the misuse-proof mechanism of deployment trigger wires simplifies the operation and ensures that all deployment steps follow sequentially.
